1. Medical Expense Waiver
Puff & Fluff is not responsible for any medical expenses that may arise as a result of the grooming process. By proceeding with services, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
2. Pre-Existing Conditions
Puff & Fluff is not liable for any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or skin irritations that may be aggravated by the grooming process. It is the owner’s responsibility to inform us of any known issues prior to service.
3. Matting and Shaving Risks
If your pet requires dematting or shaving due to matting, you acknowledge that skin irritation, nicks, or other complications may occur. Puff & Fluff is not responsible for any resulting effects and grooming may be halted if the pet is in distress.
4. Behavioral Concerns
Owners must disclose any aggression or behavioral issues. Puff & Fluff reserves the right to refuse or stop service at any time for the safety of the pet and staff. We are not liable for injuries caused by aggressive behavior.
5. Fleas and Parasites
If fleas or parasites are discovered, a mandatory flea bath will be administered at the owner’s expense. Puff & Fluff is not responsible for existing infestations or reactions related to treatment.
6. Injury or Escape
While every effort is made to ensure safety, Puff & Fluff is not responsible for any injury, illness, or escape that may occur during the grooming process, including in cases of emergency situations or natural events.
7. Emergency Care
In the event of an emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner. If unreachable, we may seek immediate veterinary care at the owner’s expense. Puff & Fluff is not liable for any outcomes related to emergency decisions.
