Here at Puff & Fluff Grooming & Pet Sitting, we pride ourselves in the work we do. We are not a corporate enterprise where you and your pet get lost in the shuffle. No. Absolutely the opposite. Liz and everyone in the shop work hard to care for each pet and maintain customer relationships on a humble and familial scale. Isn’t this what we truly want and expect!?

When you are in line checking out at the local grocery store, car wash, etc., aren’t we wishing for some form of acknowledgement? You may find yourself saying no, but I assure you that when you have had your name stated out loud saying, thanks for your business - it feels good! Why are we missing this as business owners? Why can’t we have conversations and get to know each other and put a smile on each others face? Simply put - we are moving too fast. Our lives have become consumed with everything we are getting accomplished in a day. I am here, Melissa Simpson - Boutique Manager of Puff & Fluff, to tell you that Liz the owner has not lost this touch, this human compassion and tact for engagement with her clients. It is utterly heartwarming and amazing.

Let me remind all of you who read this that Liz is a young entrepreneur. She is actually younger than myself and I barely ever take that into consideration until times of discussion like this. I only bring this to light to show that many of today’s younger business entrepreneurs are not necessarily like Liz. She takes the time to speak and above all else, listen. Although Liz will be taking more of a step back and will not be the constant face at the shop (that actually will be me), I feel I have learned well from such an awesome business woman that I am proud to call my boss. Don’t worry - Liz will never be far!

I understand she is not the only reason the shop runs as well as it does - it takes a “village” and our village at Puff & Fluff consists of fabulous groomers and bathers. Take a look at this collage I made (at the top of this blog) and realize that Liz and Puff & Fluff as a whole - has done a remarkable job keeping the shop moving. So many happy furbabies and their owners - what other proof do you need?

Oh and btw - congrats to Liz for her 18 month anniversary that happened on 8/1. Huge feats should be applauded!

Feel free to comment below on this blog page and let Liz know how you feel and what impact she has made, I am sure she would love hearing from you.
