Is your dog battling fleas and ticks and you don’t know what to do about it? Here are some of our tips to fight it off and end the problem your pet is going through:
- It’s important to address the ticks and fleas right when you notice it
- It’s good to treat the dog with a tick/flea dip at the groomer, along with shampoo for this, and also a medication that you can buy over the counter
- Fleas and ticks need to be addressed right away and a pest control company should come out to the house
- To know for sure if you have fleas in the house; you can put a 8 X 11 piece of white paper out in the middle of the room, if you have fleas they will jump to the white paper s they like light color (that also means the like lighter hair on dogs too)
- If you have ticks on the dog it is important to get them removed properly. Groomers can help with that.
- Most importantly make sure your animals are treated along with your home.
- Spend the extra money to get rid of the problem right away; as it can get worse over time
